Prize Giving Ceremony 2015


Lady Grey Arts Academy gave recognition to learners for their hard work and dedication during 2015.  The annual prize giving ceremony took place in the school hall on Friday 23 October.  The highlight of the day was the announcement of the head prefects for 2016.

Thandaza Silwane is die nuwe hoofseun vir 2016 en Jolene Swartz die nuwe hoofdogter. Dien onderhoofseun en onderhoofdogter is Milo Mnukwa en Boitumelo Mlalandle onderskeidelik.

Die koshuisprefekte vir volgende jaar is, seuns: Milo Mnukwa (Hoofseun), Thandaza Silwane (Onderhoofseun), Luzuko Gqiba
Ntsika Xhali, en Nkwenkwezi Nyilika. Dogters: Andisiwe Tshayingca (Hoofdogter), Hlumela Nombewu (Onderhoofdogter), Mamello Kosie, Boitumelo Mlalandle en Zenande Mahlombe.

Prizes and Trophies were awarded to learners who excelled in academics, sport, dance, drama, music, visual arts & design and hospitality studies. Servitude awards were given to Asakhe Jack and Vincent de Jager for their hard work and willingness to help in various projects at the school during 2015.

Ambassador’s awards went to Caleb Heynes, Andiswa Mbolekwa, Sibabalwe Bukula, Yanga Mati, Onele Qina, Khanya Tsetse, Zinzi Mdandalaza, Sicelo Mokati, Justin Thompson and Luzuko Gqiba.
