LGAA pledge of commitment

Passion Play 2020 started with a BANG!

The rehearsal process kicked off on Thursday, 6 February, with a pledge signing ceremony at the Lady Grey Arts Academy.  Every learner who is participating in the Lady Grey Passion Play, whether singing, dancing or acting, signed a pledge committing to, amongst other things, self-discipline, thorough preparation, professionalism and honouring the context of the production.

Before the pledge ceremony commenced, Taylor Israel; an evangelist from Bloemfontein, blessed all with beautiful words of encouragement.

With all the joy and fun of rehearsing and preparing, it is easy to overlook the many hours and all the hard work that goes into delivering a top-class performance like the annual Lady Grey Passion Play.

Several changes were made to the 2019 script and pilgrims can expect a fresh and revised production of the journey through the life of Christ during Easter Weekend.
